This is Alice's role. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7146900851769565592.post-48422449437390637912009-01-11T14:24:00.000-05:002009-01-11T14:24:00.000-05:00Glad you enjoyed Next to Normal. I just wanted to...Glad you enjoyed Next to Normal. I just wanted to let you know that Alice Ripley was on a 'scheduled out' the day you saw it-- she had a prior conflict with those two days because she'd been long-booked to perform in Austin, TX, well before the idea of doing the show at Arena came up. She's made every performance, whether at noon or at 8p, whether at half houses or full, and even did the added Monday night show for 450 high school students! And yes, she brings something unique to the stage with her. Mary's great in her own right, yet Alice is from out of this world in this role. Come back if you get a chance-- it closes inauguration weekend. It's just as gripping when you know the whole story up front and you'll get to see one of the most extraordinary performances by a leading lady in any musical you'll see this year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
